Obituary for Biagia L. "Bess" Cerone

Biagia “Bess” Cerone, 91, passed away December 5, 2017. She was born May 3, 1926 in Yonkers to Atillio and Yolanda Leone. On March 24, 1945 Bess married her husband Angelo Cerone in Port Chester. He predeceased her on July 12, 1991.

For over 25 years Bess worked as a Trust Officer for County Trust. Bess loved her work. She was the first female Trust Officer at County Trust; now Bank of New York. She and her husband Angelo enjoyed traveling. Later on in life Bess took up golf.

Bess is survived by one son Craig (Jane) Cerone of Ridgefield, CT, her brother Lewis Leone, her sister Nancy Quinn, four grandchildren, Craig Jr., Jacqueline, Paul and Dana, and five great grandchildren, Sadie, Alice, and Henry Cerone, and Poppy and Morgan Cardamone. Besides her husband, Bess is predeceased by her son Richard on August 20, 2016.
