A true White Plains native, Marie F. McMahon was born in White Plains Hospital to Frank and Marie McMahon. She was educated in White Plains and attended St. Bernard’s Grammar School and St. John the Evangelist High School. She then attended Mount Aloysius Junior College in Pennsylvania. After college Marie decided to follow in her father’s footsteps and join the family business. She graduated from the Simmons School of Mortuary Science in 1974.
Today Marie presides over a loyal and dedicated staff, including her niece, Katherine Meltzer, who represents the third generation of McMahon’s in the business. Marie is an active and generous member of our community. Her involvements include the White Plains Women’s Club, the White Plains Beautification Foundation, White Plains Hospital, Hospice of Westchester, Good Counsel, The Lord’s Pantry, Grace Community Church, Peace Outside the Campus, and is a daily communicant and Eucharistic Minister at Our Lady of Sorrows Church.
In carrying on the family tradition Marie prides herself with remaining active and supporting local businesses, schools and charities.

Tim is a lifelong White Plains resident and has worked for the McMahon family since 1983. He is a graduate of Archbishop Stepinac High School (1986). He attended Dominican College in Blauvelt and the American Academy McAllister Institute (1990). Tim served his Residency at McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett and has been a licensed funeral director since 1991. He is an integral part of the funeral home acting as Assistant Manager and is in charge of day to day operations. Tim is married to his wife Kathy, also a licensed funeral director at our funeral home and has one son Liam and a daughter Lauren. He is an active member of the Archbishop Stepinac High School Alumni Association and is also a member of the White Plains Historical Society and the Westchester County Funeral Director's Assoc. as well as the National Funeral Director's Association.

Joseph was born and raised in Breezy Point Queens, NY and has been a resident of New Rochelle for the past 20 years. Joseph graduated from Monsignor McClancy Memorial High School in Queens. He is a graduate of Iona College with a B.A. in English and is currently working on his Masters Degree in Education at Mercy College. Joe graduated from The American Academy McAllister Institute in 1996. Joe served his Residency and has worked with our firm as a Licensed Funeral Director for 12 years. Joseph is a member of the Breezy Point/Rockaway Point Catholic Club. He is also a member of the National Funeral Directors Association and the Westchester County Funeral Directors Association. He is dedicated to helping families in their time of need. Joe brings not only a professional, but a compassionate side to this profession.
