Obituary for
James Patrick Campion III
Jimmy Campion was granted his angel wings March 30, 2017 after a tragic motor vehicle accident. He was born James Patrick Campion III on November 8, 1990 in White Plains. Jimmy is the son of Jim Campion Jr. and Caroline Prouty DiMezza. He resided and worked in White Plains.
Jimmy's life was far too short but in his lifetime he touched many people's lives. His quality of existence far exceeded his quantity of time.
Jimmy's beautiful smile melted his parent's and family’s hearts from his day of birth and we will hold him in our hearts until we are together again. "He gave us many wonderful memories and it was a privilege to be his mother. I am so thankful he was close to his siblings so they can hold dear the memory of Jimmy's gentle spirit." Though Jimmy's love for his brothers and sister was extraordinary his greatest love and achievement is his daughter Christina. She is his heart and soul, his everything. No greater love exists than a parent for a child and this goes beyond our earthly existence. With Jimmy's passing we are reminded that life can be short and should be cherished.
Jimmy leaves behind his daughter Christina Campion, his parents Jim Campion Jr. and Caroline (Dom) DiMezza, his siblings Gianna, William, and Andrew DiMezza, grandmother Diane Prouty, along with numerous aunts, uncles, relatives and too many friends to list who provided love and support in his life.
He is predeceased by his grandfather James Prouty, his grandmothers Violet Prouty and Francis Campion, and great grandmother Elizabeth Scarlatella.
Visitation will take place Monday 2-4 & 7-9PM at McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home. A service will be Tuesday 10:00AM at the funeral home, with interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
