John Paul Fitton, a White Plains resident, died December 17, 2016 at the age of 61. He was born March 26, 1955 in the Bronx to John J. and Margaret Fitton.
John practiced law in White Plains for 25 years. He was a proud and devoted father who had a keen sense of humor. He loved his very large family deeply. He also had a love for the English language and politics.
He is survived by his mother Margaret Fitton, his son, Gregory John Fitton and his wife Ariadne Callas. Also surviving are his siblings; Regina Hendrickson, Michael Fitton, Peter Fitton, Robert Fitton, Christopher Fitton, Thomas Fitton, David Fitton, Stephen Fitton and Elizabeth Fitton, along with their spouses and numerous nieces and nephews. John is predeceased by his father John J. Fitton.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday at 10:00am at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in White Plains with interment to follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Rockland.
