Obituary for Carolyn Wray Jones

Carolyn Wray Jones, of Hartsdale, passed away on November 27, 2016. Born on May 17, 1946 in Tustin, CA, she was 70 years old. Carolyn married Kelly Jones on March 23, 1979 in N.Y.C. He survives her. Carolyn was an active member of The Tax Payers Alliance of NY, which is an organization that promotes fiscal responsibility for state and local government. Carolyn contributed many letters to the Journal News on tax issues. She also spent 7 years in Israel as a volunteer at Kibbutz Gonen, located on the Golan Heights, where she taught elementary school children. She lived through two wars in 1969 and 1973. Carolyn worked as an executive assistant until her retirement at Allen & Company, an investment banking company in N.Y.C. Visitation will be Thursday 5 to 8 P.M. with a service at 6:30 P.M. here at the funeral home.
