Frances A. Vanderheof, a longtime resident of White Plains, peacefully passed away on July 16, 2017 at the age of 89. Frances was born July 15, 1928 in NYC to the late Paul and Mary Valentine.

In 1953, she married James Dale Vanderheof in Key West Florida. They were married for 50 years. James predeceased her in 2003.

Frances served as a Nurse in the United States Navy. She had a long term career in Health care and was the Administrative V.P. for White Plains Hospital, Park City Hospital and Lenox Hill.

She is survived by her children; James D. Vanderheof Jr. of White Plains, Mark Vanderheof of Port St. Lucie, Fl and Lisa DiBella of White Plains. Also surviving is her brother Paul F. Valentine Jr and her grandchildren; Kirstin Vanderheof, Lindsay Vanderheof, Evan Vanderheof, Madison DiBella and a great grandson Alex Vanderheof

Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9. Mass will be held on Thursday at 10:00am at Our Lady of Sorrows in White Plains, with interment to follow at Kensico Cemetery
