Obituary for Florencio Pellon Jr.

Florencio Pellon, known to his friends and family as Larry, a resident of Wellington Florida, formerly a White Plains occupant, passed away on January 26th at the age of 77. He is survived by his loving wife Marian Jean Sheller, married for 52 years. He is also survived by his daughter Melissa Sexton and her husband Dan Sexton, his son David Pellon and his wife Amy. He was a loving grandfather to five grandchildren; Alicia, Brittany, Jonathan, Julia, and Michael.
Larry was born December 30, 1939 to Hazel Voss-Pellon and Florencio Pellon Sr. in White Plains. Larry is one of four children predeceased by his sister Cathy, survived by Louise and Artie. He grew up at The Andrus Home for Children in Yonkers NY from 1943 – 1955. Larry was grateful for the opportunities and education he received from Andrus Home.
Larry was proud to have served as a White Plains Auxiliary Police office for 1967 – 1989. He worked as a Computer Systems Analyst in Manhattan and owned and operated his own Company, Westchester Car and Limousine Service from 1988 to 2012.
At age 73, Larry retired to Wellington Florida with his wife Marian. There he worked hard as the President of his Condominium Association to present day. Larry enjoyed helping people without reward, was known as having a smile on his face and loved to spend time with family and friends.
The Memorial will be held on February 15th from 5-8pm. Burial will be February 16th at Rural Cemetery in White Plains at 11am.
